SUMMARY OF HOW TO PERFORM GHUSUL (PURE ISLAMIC BATH).

Allaah, the Creator of all creation has commanded us in the Qur’an to remind each other on matters of the deen as reminders benefit believers. These reminders can only benefit us when we study it well, ask questions and apply it's teachings in our way of life.

It is recommended by the Messenger of Allaah sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam that every Muslim should perform the pure Islamic bath before going to the Masjid on every Friday. You can perform your ghusul  in the morning before leaving for work so that when it's time for jumuat you can only renew your wuduu if you need to, before going for jumuat salaat but if you can come home to bath and prepare for jumuat is better.

First, the Muslim should make their intentions for purification; just make up your mind that you are going to take your ghusul for jumuat that’s all. No need to say it in any specific way as the religious innovators does. You can first take your normal bath to clean any dirt or first wash ur private parts then make wuduu like the wuduu we do for prayer, remember to say BismilLah before starting the ghusul in silent then continue with the ghusul by washing from your head, through your right side, then the left side of your body. Make sure your entire body is washed properly not just pouring water including your mouth and nostrils. Then recite the dua we recite after wuduu to complete our ghusul (Ash-hadu an laa ilaha illallah, wahdahu, laa shareeka lah, wa ash-hadu anna muhammadan Abduhu warasuuluhu. Allahumma ij-alnee minathawaabeena waj’alnee, minal mutathahireen. Meaning
O Allah, make me of those who return to You often in repentance and make me of those who remain clean and pure).

Remember to recite Suuratul Karf, Quran chapter 18, send more salutations to the Prophet(Allahummah Sally Alaa Muhammad to the end), use perfume whiles going to masjid(only men), clean your teeth with miswak, walk to masjid if possible. Seek more forgiveness by saying AstaqfirulLah after zikir of SUBHAANALLAH. WALHAMDULILLAH. WALAAILAAHA ILLALLAH ALLAHU ALLAHU AKBAR.

When living home recite (BISMILLAH, LAAHAWLA WALAA KUWATA ILLAA BILLAH, HASBUNALLAH WANI IMAL WAKEEL).

May Allah accept our prayers and forgive us our mistakes. Aameen
